Welcome! We are excited to work with you and your child this year!!In this packet you will find:

We hope to make you and your child feel welcome in their classroom. Please feel free to contact us anytime regarding questions and concerns about your child’s experience in school. We check e-mail frequently, at least twice a day. Voice mail is not the way to reach us. You can also send a note with your child or just drop by after school. We are looking forward to a great school year.

Writing Standards
1. Use appropriate heading on all school work:
Name
Date
Subject, Assignment
2. All work should be done in COMPLETE SENTENCES unless otherwise indicated by the teacher.
3. Do not begin answers to questions with “Because” or unidentified pronouns (he, she, it, they, etc.) See example in #4.
4. Answers to questions should always be formed using part of the question. For example:
“What are lines of longitude?”
“Lines of longitude are...” NOT “They are...”
5. Work to be handed in should not be done on paper torn from spiral notebooks.
6. Work should not have scribbles or doodles on it.
7. Handwriting should be neat and legible.
